Elisabetta Marzano is associate professor in Economics (Economia Politica) at the University of Naples Parthenope (Italy). She is affiliate CESifo Research Network, based at the Center for Economic Studies of the University of Munich (Germany). Her research interests deals with: macroeconomic analysis of tax evasion and underground economy; time series econometrics; ecological economics and water economics; business cycle and financial cycle. Some of her articles are published in international peer reviewed journals: Applied Economics; European Journal of Law and Economics; Economics and Politics; Empirical Economics; Kyklos; Ecological Indicators; Journal of Financial Economic Policy; Journal of Money Credit and Banking (forthcoming). She has been visiting scholar at University of Essex (UK), Bath (UK), Linz (Au), Crete (EL), Warsaw University of Life Science (PL). She has teaching experience at post graduate (Master and PhD) as well as undergraduate level. She has participated to research projects funded by the Italian Ministry of research (competitive funding) on topics related to tax evasion and underground production.
