Prof. Paolo Gajo (University of Florence, Italy) is a specialist in the field of agriculture and forestry economics. For many years Chair of Department of Agricultural and Forestry Economics and Appraisal, University of Florence. 1996 -2003 President of Ce.S.E.T. (Centro Studi di Estimo e di Economia Territoriale – Evaluation and Territorial Economy Research Center) and permanent member of Scientific Commitee of the Ce.S.E.T. Member of scientific board and for many years director of “Aestimum”, Italian National Journal edited by University of Florence. Member of Associazione Italiana Cultori di Diritto Agrario; SIDEA – Società Italiana di Economia Agraria; European Society of the Agricultural Economics; International Association of the Agricultural Economics. In his reserach career he cooperated with many Universities in Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America. In 2002 entitled Doctor Honoris Causa in Agricultural Economics by the University of Agronomy of Bucarest, Romania
